This painting grew from a simple garden experiment. I planted identical sunflower seeds in different pots, surrounded by irises, mint, tomatoes, strawberries, and wildflowers, wondering how the same seeds would respond to different environments.
Each sunflower received a different amount of light, space, water, and competition. Some bloomed despite limited room, others struggled beside stronger neighbors. None reached its ideal form, yet each found its own way toward the light.
Adaptation is not about returning to what once was. It is about becoming something new without losing the desire to grow. Sometimes our roots are limited by chance rather than choice, but life continues to reshape itself within those boundaries. In the end, adaptation is not survival alone—it is the quiet courage to keep blooming.
